On this website, you can only book bus travels from cities with an international airport to Wacken Open Air 2025. Very often, it is cheaper NOT to fly to Hamburg airport, that is located near Wacken, but to other international airports in Germany from your home country and then take the Wackenbus to Wacken Open Air 2025. We are also looking forward to helping you to coordinate your flight and your bus trip.

In 155 days, 1 hours and 26 minutes, the coaches of Wackenbus from Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium will start again to Wacken Open Air 2025.

In 2025, it will be the 16th time for our Wackenbus coaches to travel to Wacken Open Air 2025. Since 2008, the Wackenbus coaches are travelling every year to the legendary Wacken Open Air, the biggest heavy metal festival in the world. Find more here about the history of Wackenbus!

As every year, we offer a pleasant journey in our modern, air-conditioned coaches to the Wacken Open Air 2025 with many other metal fans!

In a Wackenbus, the party already starts when entering the bus!

As official travel partner of the W:O:A, we are able to always offer festival tickets in combination with one of our bus tickets, as the organizer provides us with a special contingent to promote environmentally friendly travel by coach to the Wacken Open Air. For this reason, we often still have festival tickets on offer when the regular contingent at Metaltix.com is already sold out, but always exclusively in combination with a bus ticket for one of our Wacken buses.

In 2025, our trips will depart from all departure points on Monday, July, 28th 2025 (one trip departs on Tuesday, July, 29th 2025) and, depending on the departure point, arrive at Wacken Open Air 2025 as predicted on the product page (some in the late afternoon, some in the evening or sometimes at night or at morning). The return journey is always on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at night or early in the morning, so that you can get home as quickly as possible without any departure traffic jams. For 2025 we have listened to you and optimized the departure and return times again according to your wishes and optimized and greatly expanded our stops. On our overview map you will find an overview of all the stops we offer, but we are always open to new ideas and special stops for groups.

We will take you to the Wacken Open Air 2025 in a modern coach from your desired departure point and back. The party always already starts on route to the festival! Our tour guides are all metal fans and are travelling to Wacken Open Air as such. They will also help you with any questions you may have about the festival.

Our buses always have a music system (CD player or MP3 player connection) and some even have DVD video systems so that you can enjoy the right soundtrack on the journey. Cool drinks at a fair price are of course provided during the bus journey.

Our buses stop at as few intermediate stops as possible, which we have chosen to be conveniently located near the motorways and with connections to public transport such as buses and trains, so that you can get to the festival and back again quickly.

Our coaches usually have a trailer (if the occupancy rate is over 70%) or a large ski box so that your luggage can be transported to and from the festival without any problems.

For solo travellers, the bus trip is always a very good way to make new contacts and camp with new people at the Wacken Open Air 2025!
